1. How Our Tools Work

Kertaas is a set of office tools (documents, PDF, spreadsheets, data, and calculators) that run entirely on the client side. Your device and browser process every file and text using JavaScript that loads into your browser. We run no backend server to process your files, and no tool uploads a file to our servers.

With this architecture, we cannot access the contents of any file, text, or data you process in our tools.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect or store:

• Files, documents, or text you process in any tool
• Names, emails, or other personal identity data (this site has no account or registration system)
• Tool usage history linked to your identity

Our hosting server records standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, as any web server does. We use these logs only for security and technical diagnostics, not to track individuals.

3. Cookies

We use one functional cookie named i18n_redirected to remember your language preference (Indonesian or English), so you do not have to pick a language on every visit. We do not use this cookie to track you on other sites.

About ads: This site currently shows no ads. We plan to integrate Google AdSense in the future. Before that happens, we will update this page to explain that Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to show personalized ads based on your visits to this site and others. You will still be able to manage your personalized ad preferences through Google Ads Settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Some tools load technical library code from third-party CDN networks when needed, for example Google Fonts (for typefaces) and cdnjs (for the PDF reader component). These requests only download program code and do not send the contents of your files or text. Your browser still processes your files on your device.

5. Security

Because your files never leave your device, the risk of file contents leaking through our servers is close to zero. We also use an encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the whole site.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when we add features such as analytics or ads. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
