Frequently asked questions
Do By row count and By file count split the data differently?+–
Yes. By row count cuts the file into parts with a fixed number of rows, such as 100 rows per file. By file count divides the data evenly across the number of files you set.
Does each output file get the CSV header?+–
It can. Turn on Include the header in each file so every part opens as a standalone CSV.
Can I download all parts as a ZIP?+–
Not yet. You can download parts one at a time, or all at once with the Download all button, but the tool has no ZIP option.
Is my file uploaded to a server?+–
No. The entire split runs in your browser.
